Thriller & Suspense Challenge 2010

I was going to be done with challenges for this year since I don't want to get over my head in the amount of books I have to read just to complete a challenge, but since I read so many mysteries anyway I figured this one would be pretty easy for me to do. So here I am doing the Thriller & Suspense Challenge 2010, hosted by Carolyn at Book Chick City. Here are the full details, but the basic point of the challenge is to read 12 mystery books between Jan 1st, 2010 and Dec. 31st, 2010. I can't wait to get started.

  1. I felt the same way about challenges. The ones I signed up for had to be along the lines of what I would normally read as well. I didn't want to turn this year into a speed reading competition with myself! Good luck!

  4. That's what I tell myself every time I sign up for a new challenge...just this one and I'm done, but then somehow I find that I've signed up for 4 more after that!!! Enjoy this one and good luck!

  5. I'm giving this one a try too--I read 11 mysteries last year, hopefully I can read 12 to finish out this challenge this year. :) Happy reading!

  6. I was thinking of doing this one too. It's a genre I love to read and do all the time.
Challenges are overwhelming me. I didn't finish the Christmas one and it was 2 books.
    PRESSURE!
Who knows what I will do?

I look forward to reading what you read.

Have you read John Connolly? I've always wanted to read his Charlie Parker thrillers so I was thinking ofcreating a Connolly challenge for myself.

    Anyhoo, take care!

  7. I'm like Staci in that I always done with signing up for challenges, then find myself signing up for just one more. There are so many tempting challenges out there that I can't resist! *L*

Good luck with this one, and I'm looking forward to seeing which books you choose. Have fun!
