Challenge Wrap Up Times 2

I decided to do my wrap up posts for The Christmas Reading Challenge hosted by Michelle of The True Book Addict and The 2009 Holiday Reading Challenge hosted by Nely of All About {n} at the same time, mainly because I ended up reading the same three books for both challenges.

Now I'm a humongous Christmas geek so when I came across these two challenges I was thrilled. What better way to celebrate the holiday season than by reading about them. What I did not take into account was the amount of time I work this time of year, the numerous holiday movies that I have to watch at this time of year, and all the other distractions that pop up during Christmas time. The good news is that I did manage to successfully complete both challenges since the minimum requirement was one book. Next year I will make sure I get at least one more book in.

Here are the three books I managed to squeeze in.

Murder Never Takes a Holiday by Jessica Fletcher and Donald Bains

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Skipping Christmas by John Grisham

  3. You did better then I did with The Christmas Reading Challenge. I only finished one book!

I always forget how crazy it is in retail during the holidays-and I got sick, and got even less reading done then normal. Good job on finishing them!

  4. Great job and fun books! I really enjoyed Skipping Christmas. I have never committed to a challenge (yet) but this would be one for me. I love Christmas books and December is when I read as many as I can get my hands on. I may have to sign up for this year!
