+1 I read a ton of great books this year (Madapple, 13th Child, Little Brother, etc), but The Hunger Games/Catching Fire kept me up at night. Literally. I started it (like an idiot) at 11 at night, and read until the sun came up.

So far the best book I have read in 2009 is Suzanne Collins' Catching Fire. This is shaping up to be a very enjoyable series.

Pressure by Jeff Strand is the best I've read in 2009.
ReplyDelete+1 I didn't read very many books that came out in 2009. Of what I did read published in 2009, I would have to say either The Private Diary of Mr. Darcy or Arch Enemy were my faves. My favorite read that was not published this year was Let Me In (or Let The Right One In) by John Ajvide Lindqvist.
