Word Verification Balderdash

Word Verification Balderdash is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through A World Of Books.

Here is what you do. You write down all the word verifications you come across as you are posting comments on other peoples blogs. You then play Balderdash with them. Now for those of you who don't know how to play, you take a made up word and come up with a authentic sounding definition for it. Do this for a week and then post your best ones every Thursday.

Here are mine for this week.

Wifying: 17th Century Norse word for the act of finding a wife.

Butlint: Self explanatory. Please don't make me spell it out for you.

Wingeeti: Pasta shaped liked angel wings.

Sapubb: Specialized slang term that combat sappers use when blowing up a bridge.

Restr: Short 10 minute nap.

I am laughing so hard here I think I am crying! The first one cracked me up - the second started the laugh out loud.... by wingeeti it was all over. I am sure everyone in the office thinks I am nuts sitting here laughing and wiping my eyes.

Thanks Ryan!

(Oh and funny... I think I have seen restr as a word verification before!)

Okay, I had a moment. I could not figure out what the word verification was. Then it dawned on me after I posted on a blog. (daaahhhh, smack on the forehead.)

So, NOW I get what to do. My mind just isn't always there. This is a great idea though. I have been looking at the "words" we type in wondering what they were and could mean. I think I could have fun with this one.
