Mailbox Monday for 3/21/11

Mailbox Monday is a weekly meme created by Marcia at The Printed Page and is being hosted all this month by Laura of I'm Booking It.

I received a trade paperback of Russian Winter by Daphne Kalotay for an upcoming TLC Book Tour.

I bough two hardcovers for a dollar a piece from The Dollar Tree.  They were The Reserve by Russell Banks and The View From The Seventh Layer by Kevin Brockmeier.

I also bought the newest Lupe Fiasco CD, "Lasers", from Target.

I have been listening on repeat to The Show Goes On for weeks now. "Have you ever had the feeling that you was being had? Don't that shi*t make you mad?"

And I loved Russian Winter!

I really want to read Russian Winter. Lucky you!

Darn it...I didn't get the chance to go by the Dollar Tree. Hopefully, I will this week. Both titles look interesting, especially The Reserve.

Glad you liked the tag. I look forward to your post on Thursday. I am interested to know your feelings on baked goods candles. I promise I will not be offended. =O)

I know Kevin Brockmeier's work from his brilliant book, THE BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEAD. I'll have to check out this title you bought.

A good mailbox!

Challenged as I am when it comes to knowledge of music, I only learned about "Lasers" when I picked up a few bookmarks for it that they had lying around at Barnes & Noble, so I've been using one when reading. Thanks so much for sharing the video! :D
