Wordsmithonia Radio Pays Tribute to Queen

I'm not sure how it happened, or what I was thinking, but for some odd reason, when I did my post on my favorite bands of all time, I somehow left of Queen.  They were one of those bands that I loved as a kid, I would beg my mom to play their albums, I simply could not get enough of them.  I'm not even sure who I would have kicked off the posted list, but the fact that I dissed Queen in such a way, I should hang my head down in shame.  It's an inexcusable offense, and I just hope that Freddie Mercury can forgive me.  The

To make it up, I thought I would devote an entire post to my favorite Queen songs.

You forgot Queen? I'm shocked! haha

I like all of them on your list (except for Radio Ga-Ga), but my two favorites from it are Under Pressure and Someone to Love. Under Pressure is extra special because David Bowie sings on it with them. I SO love David Bowie!

You would beg your mom to play Queen? Ouch - I feel old! I was in high school the year We Are The Champions came out. My kids all love Queen, too; you know it's great music when it spans generations.

Love Queen. I really first started loving them when Wayne's World came out. I thought the song rocked when they were jamming in the car. I of course had heard them before but didn't love them until then. I think Adam Lambert does a good job singing like Freddie and so does the lead singer from Fun.
