Mailbox Monday for 1/2/12

Mailbox Monday is a weekly meme created by Marcia at A Girl and Her Books and is being hosted all this month by Alyce of At Home With Books.

I'm super excited for this one.  This is one of my favorite authors so when I won a book of my choice from Jenny of Let Them Read Books, I picked the trade paperback of Raising Stony Mayhall by Daryl Gregory.

While I was at The Friends of the Library Bookstore, I found a hardcover of The Christmas Thief by Mary Higgins Clark & Carol Higgins Clark.

The Gregory book is new to me. Let me go see whether our library has it. You've got me interested.

I've read and loved many books by Mary Higgins Clark...but not yet read the duo of Mary and Carol. This one looks good!

So does your other book, but I'm unfamiliar with the author. Enjoy!

That first book has a kind of creepy cover that really makes me wonder what the story is about!

I'm not familiar with Daryl Gregory's work so I'm going to keep an eye out for your review and look up the author in the meantime.

I haven't read The Christmas Thief but I have read many of Mary Higgins Clark's books and have always enjoyed them.

Happy Reading!

I still need to read a Higgins Clark book. I fail. :) Someday, tho... I am thinking about picking up a mystery book.
