Mailbox Monday for 6/18/12

Mailbox Monday is a weekly meme created by Marcia at Mailbox Monday and is being hosted all this month by Marie at Burton Book Review.

I received a trade paperback of The Last Policeman: A Novel by Ben H. Winters from the publisher for review.

I received two hardcovers (one is for a giveaway) of Twilight of the Elites by Christopher Hayes form the publisher for review.

I bought two DVDs the over day.  I picked up The Woman in Black and Dream House

Happy Father's Day Ryan!

I'm curious about Twilight of the Elites, so will keep an eye out for your review. And those two movies both look intriguing! Creepy, but intriguing! Enjoy!

Just wanted to wish you a Happy Father's Day!!!

Don't you hate movie covers on books?!

Thanks for all the warm wishes!

Michael, I can't stand them. That's why when I bought the book of The Woman in Black, I made sure it wasn't the movie tie-in.

I want to see The Woman in Black also, but my husband doesn't.
(sadness, since he never gives up the TV).

I'm usually not into scary movies but I really want to see The Woman in Black. Trying to decide if I want to see it bad enough to risk being paranoid for days about every little sound I hear in the house :)

I have Woman in Black to watch too :)

I want to see The Woman In Black.. but so afraid to... I know Daniel is trying to shake the role.. but he will always be Harry to me...

Looks like a couple of good books there. I liked Woman in Black. I thought Daniel was really good in it. Dream House...I didn't like so much. Even the lovely Daniel Craig couldn't make it better for me, unfortunately.

Have a great week!

I'm really disappointed I didn't get around to seeing Woman in Black in the theater. Now that it is out on bluray I think I'll wait until fall when the nights get dark early to sit down and enjoy it.
